I came across this video y'all might like. The guy goes into the process of how he was able to dump rom data from a sega saturn. It looks like it could be good news for emulation and custom hardware. As stated in the video, the lasers on the SS's are starting to die out so this may be the only way to play your old games as time goes on. I've had some personal experience with xbox 360 custom hardware but I've never seen someone explain the process involved with putting stuff like this together, it was very interesting.
