Building a nice looking, cable box sized enclosure for my Raspberry Pi (12x2x9) out of wood and aluminum. The aluminum front plate I will be having cnc'd. Going to be using 4 of these guys for front USB hookup:

The panel will 3 mm thick. Do I need to have oversized (1mm in all directions) cutouts due to panel thickness for the cable to make a full connection? Playing with the hub I have here I dont think so, but the panel is expensive and dont want to have to redo.
Pic of the panel design for reference.
