Although these games were played on 4:3 CRTs, for some reason they have native widescreen resolution. I did some googling, even ran a search here and read a thread in which people were stating the games were meant to be fitted into a 4:3 aspect ratio and that they'll look too "fat" or wide without doing so. However, I feel as if the sprites actually look correct at the original resolution the game outputs, even if the displays of the time were using 4:3.

As you can see, it's literally identical in appearance to how the sprite is before being outputted via the system and game. I don't see this as being too wide or anything either, it looks the most "correct". Am I wrong here?
