Hi guys.
Pardon, I've gone through the first 10 pages of Tech Talk and couldn't find anything about this. I see everyone doing these really nice mods with Kaimana boards and such. However, I don't need controller or anything, I just want a LED to always glow, in my joystick balltop. Do I really need a controller board for this? Isn't there some way I can solder to the USB on the Brook Board and attach resistor and bulb that way?
I'm sorry, I know how to solder and I've soldered some connections, but I'm not too good with electricity so I'm scared of just soldering onto the board when I dunno if it's actually possible to use the power from the unused USB header.
I'd appreciate if you could help me out and give me a quick explanation or something as my searches on Google and here only yield stuff about RGB lighting with boards and such. Either, that's what people want or it's simply not possible to just feed an LED directly from the Brook board.
Anyway, thanks for reading.![:) :)]()
