brooks pcb ps3/ps4 how to use on pc?xinput?

I'm curious how the pre-installed ist brooks pcb board ps3/ps4 would work on PC? I read that xinput allows it to work?

I know there's programs that allow ps3 pads/sticks to recognize as xbox controller, but i don't know if there's any input lag.

I'm curious how the pcb and xinput work to allow the stick to be used on PC.
