Eightarc Qanba Q4, and Fusion having input problems

Hey guys,

I just bought a brand new Qanba Q4, and Fusion, and I was hoping to play with my friend today, however after plugging them both into my ps3, neither are able to input UP on the joystick. Down, Left, and Right work, as well as all of the buttons. Is there something we can do, or are doing wrong? I also tried using them to play the lethal league beta on my mac and all of the buttons work, but no joystick inputs

Update: I plugged my fightsitck into a key mapper on my mac and it registered all inputs except for UP
