Anyhow this is my first post here, and I'm excited for SF4 so much so that I started to dig up my old SF memorabilia. Throughout the years I've had so much SF stuff (playing cards - an actual 52 card deck, key chains, action figures, anniversary sticks) and I used to have a screen saver disc.
Back in 1996 a japanese company called Gaia Associates teamed up with Capcom to create a screensaver disc with a holographic cover - Capcom Original Screen Saver. It had various goodies within the disc like Street Fighter Zero 2 / Street Fighter Alpha 2 / Vampire Hunter / Night Warriors / Cyberbots calendars, calculators, bitmap viewer, and screen savers.
Does anyone at SRK still have this disc? The SF screen savers had 7 individual characters performing different animations to black out the screen (chun-li, dhalsim, ken, ryu, sakura, vega, and gief). ken would give a thumbs up and do forward rolls and dragon punches, and ryu would fireball etc.
I had bought the disc back in the 90s directly through the company but seemed to have lost the actual disc. I still have the case.
I know this is a long shot but I figured if anyone would have this disc it would be a person from SRK. The only thing I can pull up from google is japanese websites referencing the "Capcom Original Screen Saver". The company doesn't seem like the same company anymore. And all the old links including those on the case itself obviously don't work.
Long post even longer, I would love to once again have those 7 .scr files to have ken dragonpunch across my screen.
