Hi everyone,
A few weeks back I padhacked an Xbox Mini series controller and got it working great inside an old brawlstick case (No original PCB).

Last week I decided to dual mod it with a PS4 Hori Commander 4 PCB and have the case have 2 cords to avoid any problems. Each PCB their own cord.
My reasoning was to have both PCBs in the case and have each one of their button wires join at the terminal strip only (Xbox A wire in the same spot as PS4 X wire and same thing for the grounds). I figured this would work since only one of the PCBs would be plugged in at a time. It is basically the same procedure that you do with any pad dual mod ( I did one previously with PS3 and 360 Madcatz PCBs)
I placed both PCBs in the case and connected them to the terminal strips and when I plug them in to the consoles they get all crazy. When it is plugged in to the Xbone, for example, the UP PS4 wire acts as ground to the Xbox One wires.
I thought one PCB was not supposed to have any effect on the other since it's not even plugged in? Does anyone know why this could be?
These are the 2 PCBs I am using. The pictures are courtisy of @Gummo , I hope he doesn't mind me using them.
