TL;DR: "like new" Fightstick not working out of the box, suggestions appreciated.
I recently purchased a "like new" fightstick on amazon for a pretty stellar price, or so I thought. My intention was to use this stick for pc I was a bit scared when it i couldn't get it to work for my pc, an apparently common issue. The solution, I figured was to buy a modchip ( phreakmod: cerberus) slap that puppy in there and bingo problem solved my stick would work on pc/ps3 and xbox.
The real concern came the next night when I tried playing marvel on a 360. I plugged the stick in and pressed the guide button, the xbox turned on just fine but after a few seconds of all four guide lights blinking they turned off. The stick is dead...probably.
Does anyone know what might be up with my stick or what I should do with it. Like a dummy my first instinct was to open the stick and look for cold solder joints, this unfortunately rules out returning the stick U_U. I haven't installed the Cerberus yet. I can post pictures as requested since I opened the stick already.
