1) it seems like for a lot sticks you could get by with just printing your own artwork, does anyone do this? any recommendations for low/mid/prosumer range? what paper to buy? need a printer anyways and figure i'd buy one that would be able to print stick art. it'd also be nice to be able to print my own photos..

2) i have access to a large format printer / cutter (not sure exact specs) but they mainly use it to cut big ass paper, but also vinyl and thick card stock. is there a certain spec that I could check to see that it supports cutting lexan/acrylic/plexi? or is that something totally separate? sorry not sure exactly what it's called, it's basically a huge ass printer

Looks like you can buy some fairly cheap acrylic / lexan / plexi hand cutters. i've read of people sucessfully using a dremel. although I don't know if I'd be able to accurately cut out a layout by hand..

3) i know someone who is the owner for a small machine shop producing parts for the aerospace industry. they must have 6 different CNC machines, but I don't think they have anything to specifically cut sheet metal... i don't really want to bug him with stupid questions but it's my understanding that a CNC machine -mighjt- be able to work but it would be a pain in the ass and potentially waste a lot of raw materials.

for number 3 I'm talking about making metal plates a la amp up customs.
Thanks guys
