So i have been planing to build my very first arcade stick. Got a lot of questions but i will probably find answers to those in here.
However some things, like joystick and button preference can not be figured by asking questions, rather have to be experienced. Sadly, i am kind a in a budget so i need to hit it at the first try![:(]( ":(")
I am trying to figure which joystick i am going to buy. So my question to you is, can one assume that mouse sensitivity prefferance would relate to one's joystick characteristics prefferance?
Let me explain what i mean: If you preffer a low sensitivity, you involve more arm, elbow movement. You move your mouse more to get same amount of cursor movement on the screen. The stick resembles this is JLF(correct me if i am wrong).
Now, i am the opposite of this. I am a hardcore Counter Strike player and i really do well with very, VERY high sensitivty. I almost do not move arm, just by wrist (relates to seimitsu 56(?))
. I would probably want that from my stick too, not involving arm movement. But these are very different things, and one can adapt. Maybe i should go with the safe choise, JLF?
I was going to buy Sanwa without thinking but after researching, i decided to ask you guys opinions. Which one would you suggest for me? I whish i could buy many different sticks and buttons and experiment the hell out of them, but right now i just need a stick to play my games, improve my combos.
BTW, i dont know if it makes a difference on stick recommendetions but there you go anyway: The games i am planing to play are: KOF series, SF series, a little of all other fighting games, mainly MK and lots of platform games, modern and arcade.
