I'm having a strange issue with my joystick (Sanwa JLF). I'm switching back to the stock square gate from an octagonal one after diagonal inputs weren't being read consistently and now left and up (4 and 8) aren't working 100% either.
They either don't do anything at all or will trigger when I release the stick, or go off twice giving me a double jump or dash.
The switches seem to work when I push them directly with my finger, but now both restrictors are giving me issues.
I've double checked to make sure it's in right, the connection for the stick to the PCB etc, but nothing seems to be helping.
The stick itself isn't very old either (less than a year).
Anyone had a similar issue or know what might be going on?
