With tournaments migrating to PlayStation 4, one of the problems players and tournament organizers face is the DualShock 4, or more precisely, properly disconnecting the controller from the console.
With the way the PS4 works, even if you log the controller out of the console, it's still paired with it can pressing the Home button lets it log in - interrupting any game in progress.
To properly disconnect the controller, it needs to be "deleted" from the console, the steps of which I shall describe here.
Step 1: Go to Settings.

Step 4: Under Bluetooth Devices, select a greyed out DUALSHOCK 4 devices (those aren't currently connected).

Step 5: Select Delete.

Repeat Steps 4 and 5 for all DS4s.
